Elective Courses
You have unique interests and needs when it comes to continuing education and training.
The TLGC offers elective courses that cover specific topics in greater depth—and with the TLGC’s flexibility, you can choose courses that are interesting to you. Students can use credits from up to two elective courses to earn the TLGC. Elective Courses will be designated in the Course Catalog.
Some elective course topics include
1. Freight Logistics
2. Project Management
3. Advanced Modeling Techniques
4. Infrastructure Management
5. Information Technology Management
6. Environmental Analysis
7. Multimodal set; either one general overview course, or one of a variety of full semester courses such as
* Transit Planning and Operations
* Airport Planning and Operations
* Water Port Planning and Operations
* Bikeways and Pedestrian Planning and Operations
* Rail Freight and Passenger Planning and Operations
8. Public Transportation
