Learning Objectives
After successfully completing the TLGC Program, participants should be able to
-Understand and explain concepts that drive the planning, operation and management of a
variety of transportation modes.
-Recognize and distinguish the relationships and interdependencies of various modes of
transportation (for people and goods)
-Appreciate the realities of public policy making and public financing issues related to
transportation
-Recognize and interpret the roles of elected and appointed public officials, private sector
stakeholders, and ordinary citizens as they relate to decision making in transportation
