Requirements
To ensure a quality certificate program, the TLGC committees have set forth requirements that all candidates must meet to earn the certificate.
CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS
-Successfully apply and be accepted into the TLGC Program
-Earn a “B” or better in each course completed
-Complete four (4) semester-length, graduate-level courses (or a total of 12
equivalent academic credits) offered through the TLGC
*Of the four courses completed, at least two must be listed as core courses
Eligibility requirements are in place to ensure that students who enroll in the TLGC program will be able to successfully complete the certificate.
To be admitted to the TLGC program, a bachelor’s degree is required. TLGC students hold degrees from a variety of disciplines, such as engineering, systems engineering, planning, economics, information technology, operations research, business, public administration, relevant social sciences and other supporting disciplines. Successful students have a knowledge base relevant to some aspect of the transportation industry, and the certificate helps to increase that knowledge.
